Eligibility for SSO Course

- Sea-Service Requirement
- Must have 12 months of sea service with approved Pre-sea Training.
- Required Training
- Must have successfully completed the Basic STSDSD course.
- Medical Fitness
- Must be medically fit as per the International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards.

- Vision and hearing should meet the required standards.

- Passing Marks: 60%
2. Steps to Complete E-Learning:

- Complete the required e-learning hours and attempt the assessment exam.
- Upon passing, candidates become eligible for 6-day classroom training at a DG Shipping-approved MTI.

How to download LGTF Course Certificate
- After completing E-Learning, Offline Training, and Exit Exam, the MTI generates the STCW LGTF/GTFC certificate.
- The certificate can be downloaded through the Indos CoP Checker on the DG Shipping website.
What is the LGTF Certificate Validity
- The STCW certificate is valid indefinitely.
- To apply for a DCE certificate, update profile details (passport, CDC, etc.) on the Indos portal.
- The DCE certificate is system-generated and available within 3-15 days through the Indos CoP Checker.
