Refund & Cancellation Policy
At STCW Course Finder and Sailor Pro App, we are committed to providing a transparent, secure, and hassle-free booking experience for seafarers.
Student-Initiated Cancellation
Students who wish to cancel their course booking must inform our support team at least 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled course start date.
If the cancellation request is received within the eligible period, the amount paid through STCW Course Finder or Sailor Pro App will be refunded to the original payment method used during booking.
Course Cancellation by Institute
If an institute cancels, postpones, reschedules, or discontinues a course, students who have paid through STCW Course Finder may be eligible for a refund.
Refunds will be processed after receiving confirmation from the concerned institute.
Refund Processing Timeline
Once approved, refunds are initiated during business hours:
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (IST)
Refunds are generally credited within 2 working days, depending on the bank, UPI provider, card issuer, or payment gateway.
Non-Refundable Situations
- • Cancellation requested less than 48 hours before course start.
- • Student absence or failure to attend the course.
- • Payments not made through STCW Course Finder or Sailor Pro App.
- • Restrictions imposed by the institute's own cancellation policy.
Important Notes
- • Refunds are applicable only to payments successfully received through STCW Course Finder or Sailor Pro App.
- • Applicable payment gateway charges, bank charges, taxes, or third-party deductions may be deducted from the refund amount.
- • Processing timelines may vary depending on banking systems and financial institutions.
- • We reserves the right to verify cancellation requests before processing refunds.
