Eligibility for GMDSS Course
To attend the GMDSS course in Coimbatore, the candidate should satisfy at least one of the following conditions to undergo the GMDSS course:
12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
Cadets intending to attend for 2nd Mates examination
Nautical Officer holding COC
Radio Officer with Certificate of Proficiency.

As per DG Shipping Guidelines, candidates can only appear for the GMDSS Exit Exam after successfully completing the E-Learning Module of the GMDSS course.
