TASCO Course Eligibility

To enroll in the TASCO course, the candidate must meet the following criteria. 

  • Hold a Certificate of Proficiency as a Rating in Charge of a Navigational or Engineering Watch,

OR

 Sea Service Requirements For TASCO Course:-

  • A minimum of three months of approved sea service on oil tankers within the last 6 months.
  • Alternatively, at least one month of approved onboard training on an oil tankers in a supervisory capacity, which includes a minimum of three loading and three unloading operations, documented as part of an approved Advanced Training for Oil Tanker Cargo Operations.

  • CDC with a proof of sea service
