Qualifications for PSCRB
To be considered for PSCRB, candidates must be:
- Be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Have successfully completed a valid Personal Survival Techniques (PST) course, according to STCW (A-VI/1-1).
- Have six months of sea service which is acceptable to the certifying authority in order to qualify for certification. Some authority will permit 12 months of substitute sea service.
- Be physically and mentally capable of completing the Practical Exams successfully, supported by a Medical/Fitness Certificate
