Qualifications for PSCRB
Candidates wishing to obtain a PSCRB certificate must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Complete a valid Personal Survival Techniques course (PST) in accordance with STCW A-VI/1-1.
- Have at least six months of sea service accepted by your certifying authority. In some cases, certifying authorities may also accept up to 12 months of substitute sea service.
- Satisfactory completion of PSCRB Practical Exams requires candidates to demonstrate their physical and mental capability through an acceptable Medical/Fitness Certificate.
