GTFC/LGTF Course In Patna
If you’re sailing an LPG/LNG tank ship then GTFC needs to be one of the first things that you cross off your list. The acronym GTFC stands for General Training for the Liquefaction of Gas Cargo Operations. Depending on the institution that offers this course it may use the abbreviation LGTF/GTF. The general training that is provided in this course is consistent with the DG shipping basics pertaining to gas tankers.

Prerequisites for GTFC/LGTF course:
Mandatory Qualifications
- You must complete the STCW-BST, which is broken down into 4 Modules:
- Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF)
- mentary First Aid (EFA)
- Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR)
- Personal Survival Techniques (PST)
Note: You must hold an INDoS Number.
Required Documents for GTFC/LGTF course
The following is a list of documents that must be gathered prior to initiating your (GTFC/LGTF):
- An up-to-date Indian Passport is required along with a photocopy of the same.
- A Continuous Discharge Certificate, also known as CDC, must be provided if you are a holder of Sea Time.
- You will need to submit a Medical Certificate signed by a Medical Doctor that has been Registered with the Director General of Shipping and states that you are Medically Fit to Work at Sea, and trained in Emergency Medicine.
- You will need at least 2-4 Colour Passport Photos in Full Uniform.
NOTE: You will need to upload additional Supporting Documentation for your Application Only If You Have Not Already Completed All Information & Certification Requirements in Your Seafarers Profile.
