1. Token Amount & Course Cancellations

In the event that a candidate books a course through our portal by paying a ₹1,000 token amount:

  • Refund Guarantee: If the training institute cancels the course for any reason whatsoever, STCW Course Finder will refund the ₹1,000 token money to the candidate.

  • Limitation of Liability: Beyond the refund of the ₹1,000 token amount, STCW Course Finder and Merchant Navy Decoded will not be held liable for any other losses, inconveniences, or travel costs incurred due to the institute’s cancellation.

  • Institute Responsibility: We do not take responsibility for the institute’s failure to conduct the course or for any additional fees paid directly to the institute.

2. General Information & Accuracy

All information—including institute listings, course availability, and fee deals—is based on independent research and inputs from the respective training institutes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or timeliness of the information. Course fees and offers are determined entirely by the institutes and may change without notice.

3. Independent Verification

We remain an impartial platform and do not promote or recommend any specific institutes for Pre-Sea Training. All final enrollment decisions are made at the user’s own risk. We strongly encourage all users to independently verify:

  • Institute credentials and DG approval.

  • Final course fees and specific enrollment requirements.

  • The institute’s own internal refund and rescheduling policies.

4. Third-Party Links & Legal Acknowledgment

Our portals may contain links to third-party websites over which we have no control. By using our services, you agree not to hold Merchant Navy Decoded, STCW Course Finder, or any associated parties liable for any discrepancies. You acknowledge that, aside from the refund of the ₹1,000 token amount in the event of a cancellation, no legal action can be taken against us for errors or institute-side changes.
