Who is Eligible for the AIGF Course?

Eligibility Requirements for the AIGF Course:

  • The candidate must be a current or aspiring seafarer working on an IGF Code vessel.
  • The Basic IGF CoP is required.
  • Completion of the four STCW Basic Safety Courses is required.
  • Basic Safety Course Requirements:
  1. PST
  2. FPFF
  3. EFA
  4. PSSR
  • A valid medical fitness certificate from a DG Shipping-approved doctor.
  • Deck and Engineering Officers, ETOs and crew are also eligible to apply.
