- Sea-Service Requirement for Advanced Fire Fighting Course
- Officers, Engineers, Cadets, and Ratings with 12 months of sea service
- OR
- 6 months of sea service with approved Pre-Sea Training (Proof of sea service required)
- Required Training for Advanced Fire Fighting Course
- Must have successfully completed the Basic Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (FPFF) course
- Must possess a valid Indian CDC.
- Should have successfully cleared:- Basic Safety Training (BST) exit exam & STSDSD (Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties) exit exam
- Medical Fitness
- Must be medically fit as per the International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards.
- A medical fitness certificate from an approved doctor is required.
- Vision and hearing should meet the required standards.
