  5. Treatment of toxicological hazards, poisoning, and chemical exposure
  6. Examination of patients, diagnosis, and emergency medical procedures.
  7. Use of medical equipment, including first aid kits and onboard medicines
  8. Radio medical advice and effective communication with shore-based medical professionals
  9. Handling of medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, drowning, and asphyxia. 
  10. Management of acute illnesses, infections, and diseases onboard.

  • Minimum Study Hours: 28 hours
  • Passing Marks: 70%
