- Sea Service Requirement
- Officers, Engineers, Cadets, and Ratings requires at least 12 months of sea service.

- Seafarers must have successfully completed the Basic course Personal Survival Techniques (PST).
- Medical Fitness

- As per DG Shipping Guidelines, candidates can only appear for the PSCRB Exit Exam after successfully completing the E-Learning Module of the PSCRB course.
